Working with Packages
Working with packages entails:
- making changes to packages if their delivery statuses are Pending;
- performing various actions within packages.
Editing a Package
To edit a package:
- From the Asset Details page, on the
Packages tab, click the Name
of the package you want to edit. The Edit Package
page is displayed.

- Make one or more of the following changes:
- Change the Package Name;
- Choose a different Package Template;
- Start the package build workflow.
- Click Save or Save
& Return.
Performing Package Actions
To perform various actions within a package:
- From the Asset Details page, on the
Packages tab, click the Name
of the package you want to edit. The Edit Package
page is displayed.

- Perform one or more of the following actions:
- for each media item: edit, preview, download, re-ingest, open
QC Workbench, Send
to QC;
- for IMF packages: Convert to Flat,
open QC Workbench;
- make a New Delivery. See Deliver
a Built Package.
- Click Save or Save
& Return.
Convert an IMF Package to Flat
To convert to flat:
- From the Asset Details page, on the
Packages tab, click the Name
of the package you want to edit. The Edit Package
page is displayed.

- Click Convert to Flat. The Convert
to Flat dialog is displayed.

- Type a Name for the flat package, fill
in the Location of the deliverable, and
select a Transcoder Profile.

- Click Submit.
- The Package Details page for the new
package is now displayed.
