Editing a Media Item

To edit a media item:

1. From the Media Items menu, use the filters to find the desired item. See Fields on the Media Items Menu.
2. Click Edit. The Media Item Details page is displayed.

3. Make changes to the desired sections:
• Set colorimetry and mastering display parameters. See The Tracks Section.
• Perform media file corrections (transcode, reverse transcode, demux, or timed text convert). See The Media File Correction Section.
• Add or edit ad breaks. See The Ad Breaks Section.
• Set or edit clipping settings. See The Input Clipping Section.
• Set or edit crop settings. See The Crop Settings Section.
• Set or edit designations for tracks. See The Track Designation Mapping Section.
• For timed text media items, convert the file. See Convert Timed Text.
• Set or edit the media item language. See The Other User Properties Section.
• Send the media item to QC. See The Auto QC Section.
• Reply to a comment, or add/delete your own comment. See The Comments Section.
4. Click Save to save changes and continue editing or click Save & Return to save changes and return to the Media Items menu.
